Moscow, 1957: Stepan Ulyanov (USSR) a world record holder in the featherweight class lifting. Chinese Featherweight champion Chen Ching-Kai making his lift and wins the class. Soviet doctor Arkady Vorobyev, wins the 90KG class. Ivan Vesilinov (Bulgaria) makes his lift. Medal winners, Vorobyev (USSR, gold), Hasan Rahnavzardy (Iran, silver) and Ivan Veselinov (Bulgaria, bronze). Dentist Vaclav Syrovy (Czechoslovakia) sets up a new national record. Alexey Medvedev wins the 90KG+ class and sets up a new USSR record for the clean and jerk of 414 lbs.
