History of Olympic Weightlifting
The Lift Up project is brought to you by chidlovski.com.
1984 World Cup, Sarajevo, Yugoslavia: 17-year-old wonder kid from Bulgaria Naim Suleymanov delivers a fascinating performance by breaking 5 world records in the featherweight class in one night. The footage features clean-and-jerk record by Naim (185.5kg) and a glimpse of behind-the-scene chemistry between the future 3-time Olympic champion and the legendary coach Ivan Abadzhiev.
