Olympic Weightlifting has changed who I am! It has helped me attain a healthy lifestyle while maintaining strength and athleticism. I train in a modified Bulgarian Olympic Style and have learned to truely respect what athletes like Botev have attained in life. No person truely knows what strength is until they see Botev high-bat Oly back squat 320Kg without any of the assistance that powerlifters use! Then there is the whole strength of mind and determination that was trained into the souls of these lifters as well and that is what I look up to the most - desire and the motivation to never quit! The mnd tells the body what it can do - not the other way around.
