Yes, he has reverted to his true birth name after re-locating to Germany. I had a letter from Rudy a few years ago and he used 'Pflugfelder'.

For that matter, shouldn't it be Pflugfelder rather than any other spelling? Pflug is German for plow.

Has he gone back to the spelling 'Plugfelder' now that he is in Germany? For that matter, David Adamovich's last name should really be written as Riegert in the Roman alphabet since this is how it's spelled in the original German.

I never used steroids or any other drugs I am happy in the knowledge I was a clean olympic weightlifter and the result I achieved can others who were not clean fill the same. Regards mike Pearman

' No medications involved '. Highly unbelievable.

Yes, the last name can be transcribed in different ways. Please note that it was Aslambek Yenaldiev who did the 460 kilos in squat. That's what it says in the interview with G. Bessonov.

Dont should be spelled 'Plyukfelder' ? - Since i read here - http://chidlovski.net/liftup/a_gennady_bessonov.asp - that he did a back squat of 460kg in 1976, i think that he deserves at least one post.
