Kozin totaled 590, as did Valeri Yakubovsky, in May of 1972. Strength & Health credited Kozin with the world record total; a Soviet reference book published in the early 1980's said that the record belonged to both of them. This was the last three-lift total record in the 110-kilogram class. Kozin and Yakubovsky also had identical 567.5 totals in 1971. As far as I know, both of these records were official.
