Julian was a great friend of my uncle, -Joe Handley, Joe was called the Samson from Bootle. Julian paid a flying visit to Liverpool, 10 years after he emigrated, he and Joe were in the same Bootle weightlifting club - back of Stanley Road Bootle. He took some paper clipping about Joe back to Sydney to show to the other Merseysiders. They used to meet in the local Rugby club.

I am Marion and Julian Creus grandson (son of their youngest daughter Susan). Nan lives in the western suburbs of Sydney and is 91 years old! We still keep in touch with the Jenkins at Wallasey, Liverpool. My grandfather passed away on 9/9/1992.

I remember Uncle Julian lifting me above his head when I was young and remember he had a motor-bike and sidecar.He worked as a docker. He lived in Bruton Road Huyton, I think it was No 16 Julian was my mother's step brother. Julian had a brother (Eugene) who died in action in WW2 - his ship was torpedoed by a U boat in the North Sea Julians' son is also named Julian ,he and his wife Linda live in Australia - I'm fairly sure they're in the Sydney NSW area
