I worked out at Irving Park. Y In 1961 two and three on Monday, Wednesday Friday at the same time I will I will see Clyde Emrich, Chuck, Kurt Jodset, And I believe Chuck had a brother that also worked out there. I was probably an unnoticed, nondescript guy who worked out after you guys. When you guys finished, I would do my stuff on the same platforms. prior to that, and sometimes during the same time, I would work out at Sayre, park, where Bill, Seno and others would be. member Tom Golec, and even Fred shutz occasionally also being at Irving.Chuck Kutzer would do his thing there also. What an amazing time. All that just before Rick Holbrook hit his stride.

Charles (Chuck) was a very prominent lifter in Illinois back in the 1960's. I had never heard of him until we competed just one time in the same weight class in early 1965 in Decatur. We finished up being tied at the end of competition with Chuck being the winner since he was several pounds lighter than me. Hard to believe that happened 54 years ago.
