1984 Olympics, Los Angeles, USA: The most decorated Olympic weightlifter produced by Romania, Nicu Vlad was one of the finest Olympic weightlifting technicians. The footage features the 172.5kg snatch and 205kg clean-and-jerk by 21-year old Vlad at the 1984 Olympics where he won the gold medal in the 90kg weightclass.
