Yvan Cournoyer was one of the fastest skaters ever played in the NHL. His skating speed brought him “The Roadrunner” nickname. Besides his amazing skating, he established himself as a scoring forward with a slick and accurate shooting skills. Cournoyer was a very clean player and a prominent contributor in his team’s power play. He was a remarkable player that won numerous NHL championships and Stanley Cups with the legendary Montreal Canadiens, the classiest team in the history of world hockey.
