Pete Mahovlich
Team Canada # 20
Although he had a gigantic size by the NHL standards of the 1970’s, Pete Mahovlich didn’t build his hockey style on playing physically. He was rather known for his impressive speed, playmaking abilities and checking than for intimidating physical dominance. His brother was one of the NHL biggest stars Frank Mahovlich whose nickname was “The Big M”. With his 6’5” and 215 pounds, Pete towered even his brother and earned “The Bigger M” name.
