Bobby Clarke
Team Canada # 28
Bobby Clarke was one of the most successful hockey player of the 1970’s. He is arguably considered one the biggest competitors in the NHL history. His team dedication and leadership were almost unprecedented. As a captain of the Philadelphia Flyers, he was a vehicle behind the “Broad Street Bullies” successes in the mid 1970’s. Unfortunately, most Soviet fans remember Clarke not for his technical skills or impressive offensive and defensive play but for his wild and violent acts against his opponents in the 1972 Summit Series and the 1975-76 Red Army tour in North America.
